The pods usually have a light curve to them and are about four to eight inches long. This pepper ripens from light green to a greenish brown and then to a very dark red. This pepper is a slow ripening pepper, but it will also start to dry on the plant quickly once ripened. The foliage on this plant is green, and the bushy plants are about three to five feet tall. This pepper is particularly good for cooking, fresh eating and drying. A very tasty pepper with lots of sweetness and hints of fruitiness. This pepper has a very mild spiciness level of about a hundred Scoville units. Sometimes these peppers have zero heat.
