Sili-A-Top (Capsicum Baccatum)

 The Sili-A-Top pepper is an extremely productive pepper that originates from the Philippines. The pods usually have a light curve to them and are about three to six inches long. This pepper ripens from a pale green to a light creamy orange then to a very dark orange. This pepper is a slow ripening pepper, but it will also start to dry on the plant quickly once ripe. The foliage on this plant is green and the bushy plants get about three foot tall. This pepper is particularly good for cooking, fresh eating and drying. A very tasty pepper with lots of sweetness and hints of citrus and other tropical fruits. This pepper has a hot spiciness level of about five thousand Scoville units.
