This beautiful dark plant produces a bounty of colorful edible peppers. The peppers are about one Inch long and are teardrop shaped. This pepper ripens from a dark purple to a dark green then to light yellow, then slowly transitions to a bright orange and finally ripens to a dark red. The foliage on this plant is purple with green and black highlights. Most of the peppers will show hints of purple on the calyx. The plant can get two to three feet tall. A flavorful pepper with hints of apple, sweetness, and red jalapeno. This pepper has a hot spiciness level of about 15,000 Scoville units.

There are 20+ pepper seeds per pack. The seeds are open pollinated and non-isolated.
