The Yellow Brain Strain is very tasty and extremely productive super-hot pepper. This is a large chinense pepper, about golf ball size. The pods are yellow and are about two to three inches wide and have a very bumpy almost brain like texture. This pepper ripens from a green to a dark yellow orange color. The foliage on this 3-foot-tall plant is green and needs support. A very tasty pepper with a sweet tropical taste and a hint of fruitiness and citrus. This is a great pepper for salsa. This pepper is hot with about one million Scoville heat units.
